Joey Frangieh (he/him جوي فرنجية (له is the proud son of Lebanese immigrants. He is a director, designer, and producer. He is currently the artistic director of the Boston Theater Company and working on Broadway as the Associate Projection Designer for the limited engagement: Melissa Etheridge My Window.
Joey made history as the youngest person to ever direct at the 110 year old Boston Shubert Theatre, when he directed Finish Line: A Documentary Play About the 2013 Boston Marathon.
Previously he was the resident designer for the Boston Theater Critics Association and the studio assistant for Tony Award Winning lighting designer Justin Townsend.
He ran the 2017 and 2018 Boston Marathon and loves Ice Cream more than anything in the world.
